The Youth Leadership Bootcamp (YLB) 2017 will bring together 100 bright and passionate university students competitively selected from all over Bangladesh for four days of transformative personal experience, leadership training, and career navigation. Set in the scenic city of Sreemangal, the Bootcamp participants will not only develop tangible skills to make them more competitive in their careers, but will also gain valuable insights into the workplace through exposure visits. This year, we will have two consecutive Bootcamps. The YLB 3 will take place from February 2 to 5, 2017, and the YLB 4 will take place from February 9 to 12, 2017. Applicants will only have to apply for one, and mention their preference on the application form.

When and where will the Youth Leadership Bootcamp take place?
This year, we will have two consecutive Bootcamps. The first Bootcamp will take place from February 2-5, 2017, and the second will take place from February 9-12, 2017. Both the Bootcamps will take place at the Tea Resort, Sreemangal.
What are the benefits of becoming a participant of the Youth Leadership Bootcamp?
• You will learn how to exercise leadership effectively on behalf of the issues you care about deeply.
• You will have the unique opportunity to go on exposure visits to leading public, private, and non-profit organizations, and network with highly motivated peers and professionals from diverse fields. Consequently, you will acquire invaluable practical insights into industry culture and diverse work environments.
• You will learn how to write strong resumes and cover letters and enhance their interview performance through workshops and small group sessions. At the end of each program, you will create a one-year personal action plan.
Who can apply?
Any undergraduate university student enrolled in an accredited university in Bangladesh is eligible to apply.
How much will it cost?
Selected participants will have to pay BDT 6,000 to register for the Bootcamp. Registration fee will be used to cover accommodation, meals, souvenirs, certificates, course materials, and a lifetime membership to the BYLC Graduate Network.
Is financial aid available?
A registration fee waiver is available for applicants with demonstrated financial need. We will use a gross family income calculator to determine eligibility for fee waiver. All selected delegates will be given the option to apply for fee waiver with appropriate documentation.
What are the acceptable methods of payment for registration?
Selected participants will have the option to pay either through Bkash or cash payment at the BYLC Headquarters in Baridhara, Dhaka.
How selective is admissions?
The admissions process is quite competitive. In the first round, all the online applications will be reviewed by an admissions committee. The admissions committee will select a number of candidates for the second round of assessment, which will include a personal interview. Finally, 100 applicants will be selected as delegates for each Youth Leadership Bootcamp.
Do I have to stay the entire duration of the Bootcamp?
Yes, as a participant, you will be required to stay for the entire duration of the Bootcamp to be a graduate of the program.
Will I get accommodation facility?
Yes, participants of the Bootcamp will receive shared-basis accommodation for the duration of the program.
